Learning Challenge: Happiness Jar Part 1

I decided that this time of the semester is perfect for me to try the "happiness jar". Every semester, there is a couple weeks where I get overwhelmed and then have to spend the rest of the semester playing catch up. I think the happiness jar is a great idea to remind me of the good stuff when sometimes I tend to focus on what I have to do. I am going to write one thing that made me smile or that makes me happy every day this week and then I am going to read them next week. I chose this picture of the coke bottle because it is the perfect size for 7 memories. I will probably do something similar to this or just put them in a bowl for the week. Also, I encourage you to click the link to this photo. It has a great story about a boy who started "a chain of happiness".

  1. Alex, what an awesome idea! I think that I may look into doing this for some extra credit as well this week. I like to write out my schedule each day and I try to write something good at the end of everyday, but I missed over a week straight of my mini-journaling when I got sick last week. I think that this will help me get back on track! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Hi Alex, I definitely understand what you mean when you say that you get overwhelmed and then spend the rest of the semester trying to catch up! I try to get a head start but I still end up getting really stressed out. I really like your picture of the coke bottle too! I really liked the story that you linked as well!
