Famous Last Words: Self Five

giphy

For my famous last words this week, I wanted to congratulate myself for doing all of my reading this week. I believe it is the first time I have done all of the readings this whole semester (self high five). I even did an extra credit reading this week. I really enjoyed the Native American folklore stories this week. I think it was really cool to read these Native American ghost stories so close to Halloween. I felt like they were really easy to read and they made me want to watch some Halloween movies. As I mentioned before, I also decided to do more reading for extra credit this week. I decided to read King Arthur folklore because I have always been intrigued with the story of King Arthur. Was he a real person? I also wanted to read the stories that were chosen for the un-textbook because I took the course "Arthurian Legend and Literature" last year and thought it was great! One of my favorite readings in that unit was Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

I also am really excited for this course because I feel like I am finally starting to get back on track. I really love all the extra credit opportunities and the ability to kind of pick and choose what you want to do. The grade in this class is really up to you and how much effort you want to put into it. Unfortunately I have had to play a bit of catch up in this class, but again, it is crazy that I have had the opportunity to catch up at all. I didn't get to the storytelling this week so hopefully I can do that next week. I would really like to get as many points as I can every week to try to get that A. I really think if I stay on track like I have been in the last few weeks that goal is very realistic.
