Time management has
always been a huge obstacle for me. I have battled many years
with my great foe procrastination. Procrastination is a silver-tongued
trickster that hides in the shadows and whispers fabrications of short-term
pleasures that hold little to no reward. It wasn’t until recently that I gained
strength over my enemy and learned to hold procrastination at bay. I believe I
have grown a lot with my time management skills a lot; I have really learned
what works and doesn’t work for me. In

just sitting down, shutting up and starting something and gaining momentum and
I’ve found this to be one of the best strategies for me. I also have a great schedule planned with time
carved out each day to sit and solely work on whatever I need to do for the
day, week and so on. Do yourself a favor; make your own life just a little bit
easier. After all, it’s all in your own hands
Alex, we seem to be similar in many aspects. I am also finally getting a hand on my procrastination habits. My gateway teacher freshman year showed us a video about procrastination that changed my thinking. There is one line from the video that has stuck ever since and it was something along the lines of, "do it now...your future self will thank you later."
