Learning Challenge: Sleep
Why sleeping may be more important than studying
This article really grabbed my attention because I feel like a lot of college students have all nighters instead of getting a full nights sleep before a big exam. I know I have been guilty of doing the same. I have actually gone 72 hours without sleep. Once you reach a certain point of no sleep it is hard to settle down. This article states that those that slept more actually did better on tests and were able to retain what they learned a lot better than those that stayed up later to study. This is kind of crazy to me because I feel like since so many people do this we should spread the word that maybe sleep would be better for them than that all nighter. I think this would be a hard habit for a lot of people to break but worth it in the end.
