Alice was minding her own business when she spotted a rabbit. This rabbit was able to talk and had a pocket watch, so she decided to follow it down the rabbit hole. I find it interesting that while she was falling it is noted that it must have been deep or she was falling slowly. I have never fallen so far or slowly that I was able to open my eyes and wonder at my surroundings. She was even trying to show off how smart she was. Although I am not sure as to who she was showing off to. Anyway, once we got to the doors and the "drink me" and "eat me" I was reminded of the Disney cartoon version of this book. However, I do think it is funny that she decided not to drink the bottle until after she checked whether or not it said "poison". Because if someone was going to kill a random girl with poison, they would make sure to label the bottle first. It is kind of a scary thought for a girl when she is thinking to wonder if she would shrink until there is nothing left of her. Then I find it funny that when she grows again her biggest concern is that she is so far away from her feet. Who would put on her shoes? Based off of what I have read so far, I feel like Disney did a great job with their story. It doesn't seem to be something that they changed completely like Pocahontus, who was a part of our actual history.
